Excellent romantic weekend for a couple

Fantastic spa facilities, wonderful room in a separate cottage, excellent breakfast buffet

Considering the huge panoramic windows, several curtain rolls were broken, and the curtains are not sufficient to provide full blackout during bright nights.

Wonderful stay

One of the kind place, which has a lot of personality and character. Buildings were impressive and room was very comfortable.

Spa Area was a little bit confusing, there were common sauna area right next to men's and women's dressing room.

Wonderful kotas in beautiful landscape

A magical experience in a wintery landscape. Wonderful spa with at least 5 different saunas and a relaxing atmosphere. An awesome dinner at Restaurant Solitary.

Small locker rooms in the spa. Crowded breakfast buffet.

Very lovely for a couples holiday! Super cozy vibes

Our suite was amazing and all the building were super pretty and cozy. The spa was beautiful and big and the staff was lovely. The restaurants were also great, BIG recommendation for the ”kota” restaurant! It was amazing. So beautiful and intimate, and amazing food. The chef was super nice also. The snow mobile safari was also great! The guide was helpful and kind, and we were driving for a long time in different terrains.

Minor issues with the cleaning of our room. The slippers provided were clearly used and had hair on them. The shower wall was pretty dirty by the floor and the champagne glasses in the kitchen were dusty and greasy. The spa was great, but the jacuzzi water was cold and the saunas pretty small.

Fabulous stay. The rooms, the private lakefront sauna, and facility exceeded our expectations.

Excellent! Lot of variety of food and very delicious. With a family, we had lots of choice.

The wait time for the waffle machine discouraged its use. If we did get to it, they were delicious.

Excellent, a great combo of nature, Finnish vibe and luxury! Loved it

Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room was so unique. I loved the forest trails, the kayaking and the day spa, all amazing.

I feel the day spa entry should be included for people with accommodation. Also the seal safari should be called a National park scenic boat tour since norppa seals are really only worth seeing around May/June.

Great place to go, but…

Almost everything, except…

- Pool should have been 2-3 degrees warmer. And yes, I recognize they keep it a bit cold because of environmental reasons, but still… - Disappointing that 2 saunas were not functioning or in use while there in the spa. - Weird at a 4 star hotel that you only have standard filtered coffee - this is seemingly “normal” though at many places in Finland. Where’s my espresso or latte? - The hotel should keep the bar music to the minimum until all dinner guests have finished eating (at the fire restaurant). It was weird that our nice semi-romantic dinner ended with hearing bar music from the other side of the wall. - Also very weird that you need to pay for some of the parking lots at a hotel in the middle of Finland (or middle of the forest). It feels like the hotel is “milking the customers”. Why not just increase the price of the hotel by 5-10 euros so that parking would be free everywhere?

The warm water only lasted for 15 minutes in the shower. There wasnt a hot tub on the spa side, max temp 31.

Very Good

Beautifully decorated and atmospheric resort. Loved the elves and fairy lights everywhere! Friendly and helpful staff. Great food.

Room soundproofing was poor (we stayed in a suite in the main hotel). We were kept awake by our neighbours in the next room talking and playing music until 4am :-(

Perfect recharge after the holidays

The resort is beautiful and inviting. You can really relax here. Highly recommend the restaurant Solitary!

The view sauna not being open. Would be nice to have it open all year around.

Wonderful

The place is worth visiting. We loved our stay at jarvisydan in jan 2025. The wintery vibes were pretty fascinating. There were several activities to do. We enjoyed walk to laama park. There were horses and cute cafe to keep us warm in low temperatures. Spa visit was very relaxing. Rooms, food, cleanliness, photogenic spots and spa are going to keep you active. Memorable stay!!

Great for a weekend away

Great little hut, with lots of little details for your stay like cheese slicer, mini fridge (for your fizz). Very romantic if you want it to be. Nice little fireplace in the room/hut. Spa is really nice and quiet, good for couples. Lots of things to do around. Nice restaurants. Good parking and location for distance from city. Very ‘Finnish’ style so perfect for tourists to see some nature but also popular for local tourists.

Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Restaurants close a bit early for non-Finnish eaters. For a second spa you need to pay, but get a discount so it was fine.
